Following a full year of newly released tracks, albums, and up-and-coming musicians, the 2024 Grammy Award nominees have been formally announced. At 11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT, the announcement was made live on the Grammys website and YouTube channel.

Stars in attendance joined Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. to announce the nominees. Arooj Aftab, Vince Gill, Amy Grant, Jimmy Jam, Jon Bon Jovi, Muni Long, Samara Joy, Cheryl Pawelski, Judith Sherman, Jeff Tweedy, St. Vincent, and “Weird Al” Yankovic were among the notable individuals. Co-hosts of CBS Mornings, Tony Dokoupil, Nate Burleson, and Gayle King, were also present for the announcement.

Videos revealing the nominees in the other categories were later uploaded on the Grammys website and YouTube. The nominees in the general field and a few selected categories were revealed during the ceremony.

A total of 94 categories will be honored at the 66th Grammy Awards, honoring musicians, artists, and inventors. Notable titles include Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best New Artist. Three new categories have also been added: Best Pop Dance Recording, Best Alternative Jazz Album, and Best African Music Performance.

The awards ceremony is set to take place at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. The event may be streamed on Paramount+ and will be televised live on CBS.
