Who is Derek Rosa’s Mom?
A hearing was held on Friday for the 13-year-old Florida boy who was charged as an adult for allegedly killing his mother earlier this month.
Derek Rosa reportedly stabbed Irina Garcia, 39, on October 12. Garcia was found dead next to the crib where her 14-day-old daughter was sleeping after Rosa called 911 and admitted to the slaying, according to WPLG.
Garcia was reportedly stabbed multiple times in the neck. Rosa allegedly instructed a 911 dispatcher that he despatched pictures of his lifeless mom to a person he met online. He went on to inform the dispatcher that there had been blood all around the floor.
“I took snapshots and I instructed my buddy approximately it,” he allegedly stated in the 911 call. “became that horrific?”
Rosa is charged with first-degree homicide. He stays jailed without bail in spite of pleas from his father and grandmother to be placed on house arrest.
